Albert S. Green was Alonzo Bump's friend. As Alonzo, Albert worked at Saratoga Manufacturing Company prior to joining the 77th New York regiment in 1862. During the Civil War, Alonzo wrote letters to his wife which mention A. S. Green's name on occasion.
