i now Sit down to wright to you a few Lines to let you know that i ame well and in good Spirit your Kind and most welcome Letter came to hand about 15 minits ago and i was glad you had Bin to Galesvill and had a Good time and i think that Peeat is Goin in for Babey on a big Scale i had rather it would Bee him then me for i have Got all that i can take care of now and more to on the wages that i ame a gitting hear But Dear i don't want you to distress your self to Git me the money to come home for if i cant Git the money to come i Can stay hear till my time is out thair is sum talk of the Pay master coming to Pay us off i hope that is so But cant hardly Baleave it Dear our Captin is a Goin home in the morning on a 60 days furlow and hee is a coming to Hickes to make a visit and then i want you to Go up and see him and have your mother Go Go
