Dear Sister i now Sit Down to right you a few Lines to informe you that i ame well and hope that theas few Lines may find you the same and i was Glad to hear that you went and spent New Years up to Dicks and i hope you had a Good time i tride to have a Good time But i did not have a very Good time But then i hope By the time another New Years comes around that i shall Be in Good Old Victory all right and sound as a BrickEll you sed in your Letter that you had a Letter from a Solgar in the armey that hee Picked up your address i don't Know whare hee could have found it for i have not had a Letter from you Before in a Good and when i Git them and as soon as i read them i Burne them up But if hee rights to you again Let me Know and if hee is around hear i will try and see him and tell you what Kind of a fellow hee is for Ell i dont want you to Corespond with eny one that i think haind a likley fellow Probley you will say that it is non of my Bissnes who you wright to well it haint only i wish to you do well and i wish you all the Good Luck in the world Thair was a weding hear the Other Day one of the Bardan Sharp Shootters marid a Lady out on the Picket Line and hee ha took hur home on a 30 days furlow Buley for him may hee have some Good times Before hee come Back down in to Dixey again Ell the Boys are a having a big old time hear in the company to night they have had a canteean of whiskey and some of them are Pritty Noisey But |
